Established at the beginning of Nov 1997, SENTANA Cargo Service is a trade mark of PT. Sendang Tirta Kencana, started running the service operation on Dec, 1997. We are dedicated in providing efficient and effective handling and providing the exporters and importers with a reliable customs clearance service. We have our own in-house certified customs broker dedicated exclusively to our clients like you.

We have a team of well trained and experienced employees with a combined knowledge which is growing bigger and bigger. We also have forwarder agents in many parts of the world which are ready to ship your cargo to/from anywhere in the world. We help our clients in planning their shipment for export and import. We help our clients to generate a system of their shipment.

To effectively handle the information you need, we provide a dedicated staff/assistant with a nonstop online service 365 days a year, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. We also have a speedy preparation of shipping documents. We have complete computer network systems that handle documentation functions. We have hands with experience on project cargo, special, oversize, heavy lift cargo for domestic and international. We also provide chartering on vessel, tugboat & Barge, Self-propeller tugboat, Helicopter and air project cargo.

Our product is cargo service. This is a process of human capital in our company, which could not be achieved overnight. Human capital includes our forwarder agents as our good friend partners, our staff as our family members and our vendors as our nearest neighbours, the shareholders as the parents in the family.

These relationships are a nonstop going process, a unique process of internal of the company which then becoming the corporate culture within SENTANA Cargo Service environment which then is resulting our customers entire satisfactions.

Communication is a very crucial matter and without such above relationship, a good communication never happened. This type level of communication will lead to the success of handling the cargo to a zero defect, one kind of achievement that other competitor freight forwarders are not easily to catch up with.

We champion integrity as our basic culture. Using several benchmarking, we measured the integrity which we have succeeded. At the moment, integrity is our primary cause of the corporate success, because we are success in building a solid teamwork. A key success of cargo services is a solid teamwork with intensive communication which can only happen in a conducive working environment, fairness with forwarder agents and well treatment to vendors.

Relationship with government agencies like customs officers is very important. We don’t see the customs officers as bureaucrats. Customs institution is only a filter institution of the government. All the government rules and regulation are coming from other government agencies who give their restriction rules to the customs officers. The customs as the government filter institution is only the executor of those rules. They are not making the regulations, the customs are only receiving those rules and enforcing the rules as part of their jobs. If the customs officers are not doing this job, then they are against their vow.

The way of looking customs such way above will avoid conflict relationship with the customs. Indonesian customs are very friendly and they are welcome for as much as inquiry we need to ask for. Indonesian customs will try to explain patiently as much as they could until we can understand everything. This is one of an important point, to avoid human error on the job when doing the customs clearance processes.
